I fish one fly whenever I can. Less tangles, less time tying, easier casting, and better control through complex water.

In over 50 years of fly fishing I have never used more than a single fly, not just because it has been the law in British Columbia for all that time but I have never once had the want to do otherwise even if I could.

It was refreshing to read your article, the flow and grace of casting a single fly cannot be beat, after all it is not just about catching fish, to me that is only a small part of the experience.
